RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT
OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT TO ACCEPT AN URBAN
DEVELOPMENT ACTION GRANT FOR $1,836,000
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda has been awarded an Urban
Development Action Grant of $1,836,000 by the U.S. Department
of Housing and Urban Development, and
WHEREAS, said Grant will enable the completion of Phase II
of Marina Village; and
WHEREAS, said Grant is vital to the residents of this City
to provide new opportunities for jobs and businesses; and
WHEREAS, this Grant will be loaned to the developer and
then used again to encouracfe additional economic growth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said Council hereby approves an Agreement, as
amended, with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development,
and the Mayor of the City of Alameda is hereby authorized and
directed to execute said document for and on behalf of the City
of Alameda. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to attest to same.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 17th of April, 1984,
