AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH EAST BAY
MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT TO PROVIDE WATER SERVICE
TO THE MAINTENANCE SERVICE CENTER/ANIMAL SHELTER
WHEREAS, the East Bay Municipal Utility District requires
a water main extension agreement with the City in order to engineer
and install water service to the new Maintenance Service Center/
Animal Shelter; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Alameda
that said agreement be entered into;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor of the City of Alameda is hereby
authorized and directed to execute, for and on behalf of the City,
a water main extension agreement with the Fast Bay Municipal
Utility District for service to the Maintenance Service Center/
Animal Shelter.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 1st of May, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official
seal of said City this 2nd day of May, 1984.
