AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH COUNTY OF
ALAMEDA TO UTILIZE STATEWIDE PRISONER TRANSPORTATION
SYSTEM
WHEREAS, a proposed agreement with the County of Alameda
for Transportation of Prisoners Via the Statewide Prisoner
Transportation System has been submitted to this Council, and the
Council is fully informed and aware of the terms and conditions
thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Alameda
that said agreement be entered into;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor of the City of Alameda is hereby
authorized and directed to execute, for and on behalf of the City,
that certain agreement referred to above by and between the County
A of Alameda and the City of Alameda, for utilization of the State-
wide Prisoner Transportation System.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 1st of May, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
