Resolution 1034410344 CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. AMENDING THE COMBINED LAND USE PLAN OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF THAT PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS TODD SHIPYARD, LOCATED AT 2900 MAIN STREET, FROM LIGHT INDUSTRIAL AND MILITARY INSTALLATIONS TO HEAVY INDUSTRIAL WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 9105, adopted July 3, 1979, the City adopted its Combined Land Use Plan of the General Plan of the City of Alameda in accordance with Sections 65302 and following of the Government Code of California; and WHEREAS, there has been considered an amendment to said Combined Land Use Plan of the General Plan (GPA-84-3) to amend the General Plan Land Use designation from Light Industrial and Military Installations to Heavy Industrial for approximately 50 acres of land located at 2900 Main Street commonly known as Todd Shipyard by the Planning Board, which duly noticed and held public hearings thereon, and which, on May 29, 1984, by its Reso- lution No 1414, made certain findings and recommended approval thereof by the City; and. WHEREAS, on June 7, 1984, the Council received said Board's recommendation, held a public hearing on the question of whether said amendment to the General Plan conforms to general law and whether the adoption thereof would be in the public interest, heard testimony and took other evidence thereon, following which said Council considered the matter and was fully advised in the premises; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY LL„ OF ALAMEDA that the Combined Land Use Plan of the General Plan - of the City of Alameda is hereby amended to change the land use designation of that property located at 2900 Main Street and :!‘r: commonly known as Todd Shipyard from Light Industrial and Military -Or Installations to Heavy Industrial. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a Regular Adjourned Council Meeting assembled cn the 7th day of June, 1984, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
