CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10345
COMMENDING THE REVEREND WILFRED HODGKIN FOR HIS
DEDICATION AND SERVICE TO THIS COMMUNITY AS
RECTOR OF CHRIST CHURCH PARISH
The Council of the City of Alameda acknowledges with great pride
the influence, contributions and accomplishments of the Reverend
Wilfred Hodgkin on the occasion of his retirement.
WHEREAS, the Reverend Wilfred Hodgkin has served this
community with distinction during his twenty-five years with the
church, and
WHEREAS, he has earned the respect and admiration of so many
for his contributions to the betterment of life for all of us,
and
WHEREAS, he has served this community not-only through his
official position with the church, but as an active participant
in many community affairs, and
WHEREAS, in recognition of successfully fulfilling his varied
responsibilities for the diocese, the Reverend Hodgkin will be
honored later this year when the Bishop of California bestows
upon him the title of the Venerable Archdeacon of the Diocese.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City
of Alameda commends and acknowledges with esteem, the years of
service rendered by this faithful man of peace; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Alameda and his many friends throughout the community extend to
"Wolf" hearty congratulations and best wishes for health and
happiness in the years to come.

was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in a Regular Adjourned Council Meeting assembled
