Resolution 10349LJ CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10349 AUTHORIZING REPROGRAMMING OF UNEXPENDED EIGHTH YEAR FUNDS FOR ARCHITECTURAL BARRIERS REMOVAL IN CITY--OWNED PUBLIC BUILDINGS WHEREAS, the City of Alameda is an eligible applicant for Community Development Block Grant funds as authorized by the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended; and WHEREAS, there is a need within the City for public buildings and facilities which are accessible to the physically handicapped; and WHEREAS, the removal of architectural barriers is an eligible Community Development Block Grant expense; and WHEREAS, unexpended Eighth Year funds are available for reprogramming to an architectural barriers removal project in City-owned public buildings; 0 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that said Council hereby authorizes the reprogramming of unexpended Eighth Year funds for the removal of architectural barriers in City-owned public buildings. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a Regular Adjourned Council Meeting assembled on the 7th day of June,-1984, by the following vote to wit: AYES: NOES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
