RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT
FOR SERVICES WITH JOHN HEINDEL, ENGINEER (LANDSCAPE
AND LIGHTING ASSESSMENT DISTRICT)
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda has determined
to undertake proceedings for the formation of an assessment
district pursuant to the provisions of the Landscape and Lighting
Act of 1972 for the construction or installation of improvements,
including the maintenance or servicing, or both, thereof; and
WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will
be served by amending the existing agreement to permit additional
services and compensation thereof with John H. Heindel as engineer
for the formation of the district;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the City Manager is hereby authorized to amend
the agreement with John H. Heindel from $5,700 to $7,125, to
reflect additional services.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in a Regular Adjourned Council Meeting assembled
on the 7th day of June, 1984, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers.Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
