APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH FLOYD H. HYDE ASSOCIATES
FOR SERVICES TO PREPARE A UDAG APPLICATION FOR
BALLENA ISLE MARINA
WHEREAS, the City is seeking to improve the economy of
the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, an Urban Development Action Grant is a means
of assisting in the construction and gaining more jobs in Alameda;
and
WHEREAS, Ballena Isle Marina has requested that an appli-
cation for a UDAG grant be prepared and which would lead to
contruction of a new office building, thus providing for a new
business and job opportunities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the City accept the proposal for services from
Floyd H. Hyde Associates and hereby authorizes approval of this
agreement.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in a Regular Adjourned Council Meeting assembled
on the 26th day of June, 1984, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
