AWARDING CONTRACT TO UNIACKE CONSTRUCTION FOR THE
SEPARATION OF STORM AND SANITARY SEWERS ON LEWELLING
COURT AND DORIS COURT AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Separation of Storm and
Sanitary Sewers on Doris Court and Lewelling Court in accordance
with Specifications No. P.W. 4-84-9, approved May 15, 1984; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was sub-
mitted by Uniacke Construction agreeing to perform said work in
accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $52,600; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its proposal
is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LAMEDA that the bid of Uniacke Construction is hereby accepted,
the contract for separation of storm and sanitary sewers on Doris
Court and Lewelling Court is hereby awarded to said bidder, and
the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to
attest, said contract on behalf cf the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in a Regular Adjourned Council Meeting assembled
on the 26th day of June, 1984, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
