AWARDING CONTRACT TO RODONI-BECKER COMPANY, INC.
FOR MECHANICAL SYSTEMS MAINTENANCE IN THE POLICE
ADMINISTRATION BUILDING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Mechanical Systems Mainten-
ance in the Police Administration Building for Fiscal Year
1984-85 in accordance with Specifications PW 5-84-10 approved
May 15, 1984; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was sub-
mitted by Rodoni-Becker Company, Inc. agreeing to perform said
work in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $9,600,
and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its proposal
is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the bid of Rodoni-Becker Company, Inc. is hereby
accepted, the contract for mechanical systems maintenance in the
Police Administration Building is hereby awarded to said bidder,
and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk
to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in a Regular Adjourned Council Meeting assembled
on the 26th day of June, 1984, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
