CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 1 -
AWARDING CONTRACT TO ATLAS TREE SERVICE, INC. FOR
PRUNING OF CITY STREET TREES IN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Pruning of City Street Trees
in the City of Alameda in accordance with Specifications No.
P.W. 5-84-11, approved May 15, 1984; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was ub-
mitted by Atlas Tree Service, Inc. agreeing to perform said work
in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $24,120;
and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its proposal
is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the bid of Atlas Tree Service, Inc. is hereby
accepted, the contract for Pruning of City Street Trees in the
City of Alameda is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor
is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest,
said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in a Regular Adjourned Council Meeting assembled
on the 26th day of June, 1984, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
