Resolution 10399CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10399 APPROVING BLUE CROSS OPTION LINE 100 PLAN FOR CITY EMPLOYEES TO REPLACE THE BLUE CROSS BENEFIT PLAN CURRENTLY IN EFFECT WHEREAS, Blue Cross of California currently offers group hospital, surgical and medical insurance covering certain eligible and participating employees of the City; and WHEREAS, Blue Cross Option Line 100 is a new Blue Cross plan offering a wider range of covered benefits with a substan- tially higher maximum benefit; and WHEREAS, the City and its employees will benefit from medical insurance coverage under this new plan; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the City of Alameda replace its current Blue Cross Plan with the Blue Cross Option Line 100 Plan and the City Manager is authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Alameda any and all forms and other papers or documents necessary to cause said plan to become effective. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th of August, 1984, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Didment - 5. NOES: NOne, ABSENT: None. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, Z have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official seal of said City this 8th day of August, 1984.
