AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH HEALS TO
PROVIDE AN ADDITIONAL HEALTH CARE PROVIDER OPTION
FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY
WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 26, 1984, this Council
approved the addition of HEALS as a third health care provider to
offer medical insurance to employees of the City of Alameda;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the contract between the City and HEALS to provide
an additional health care provider option for employyes of the
City is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to execute said contract for and on behalf of the
City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City f Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th of August, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
