Resolution 10404CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. _1_0404 COMMENDING THE MAYOR'S FOURTH OF JULY PARADE COMMITTEE FOR THEIR OUTSTANDING WORK ON THE JULY 4TH, 1984 PARADE 4, WHEREAS, the Mayor appointed a Committee to handle the July 1984, Parade held in the City of Alameda; and WHEREAS, the Committee diligently worked any months and hours to schedule the Parade, to obtain suitable entries and coordinate them; and WHEREAS, the Committee held a fund raiser to support the Parade; and WHEREAS, the Parade was an outstanding success and enjoyed by many citizens of Alameda; and WHEREAS, the military, business districts, many organizations and individuals entered into the Parade on our important independence Day celebration; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mayor and City m'N 7 Council commend the Parade Committee and express appreciation to them for a job well done which enhanced a great City tradition. I, the undersigned, hereby cer if that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City f Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th of August, 1984, by the following vote to wit: AYES: COUnCilme0b2r3 Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
