AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY
OF ALAMEDA RELATING TO THE COLLECTION, ALLOCATION AND
DISTRIBUTION OF MUNICIPAL COURT FINES AND FORFEITURES
WHEREAS, a proposed agreement with the County of Alameda
for the purpose of resolving any and all disputes between the
City of Alameda and the County of Alameda with respect to the
collection, allocation and distribution of Municipal Court fines
and forfeitures has been submitted to this Council, and the Council
is fully informed and aware of the terms and conditions thereof;
and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Alameda
that said agreement be entered into;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to execute, for and on behalf of the City, that certain agreement
referred to above by and between the County of Alameda and the
City of Alameda relating to the collection, allocation and dis-
tribution of Municipal Court fines and forfeitures. The City
Clerk is hereby directed to attest to same.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City. of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th of August, 1984"
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
