AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT WITH CALIFORNIA
GOLF CENTERS, INC. FOR OPERATIONS OF THE PROFESSIONAL
SHOP AT THE MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE
WHEREAS, Jack Cummings has since June 22, 1964, been
designated as and pursuant to written agreement therefor has
furnished the services of Golf Professional at the Alameda
Municipal Golf Courses; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined and it is mutually agreeable
that said agreement be terminated at this time; and
WHEREAS, a form of agreement relating to the rights, duties
and responsibilities of a Golf Profession at the Alameda Municipal
Golf Courses has been filed in the office of the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that California Golf Centers,
Inc. become party to such agreement as the Golf Professional at
the Alameda Municipal Golf Courses; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda is informed
and aware of the contents of said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor be, and she is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Alameda that

certain agreement relating to the rights, duties and responsibilities

by and between the Golf Professional and the City of Alameda,
the term thereof being for a period of three years from August
5, 1984. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that California Golf Centers, Inc.

0I be denominated therein as the Golf Professional.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th of August, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas and President Diament - 4.
NOES: Councilmember Monsef 1.
ABSENT: None.
