AWARDING CONTRACT TO P & F CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR
REPAIR OF P.C.C. SIDEWALK, CURB AND DRIVEWAY FOR FISCAL
YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1985
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Repair of Portland Cement
Concrete Sidewalk, Curb, and Driveway, for Fiscal Year Ending
June 30, 1985, in accordance with Specifications No. P.W. 5-84-13,
approved August 7, 1984; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by P & F Construction, Inc. agreeing to perform said
work in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of
$144,600; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its proposal
is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Alameda that the bid of P & F Construction, Inc. is
> 4 hereby accepted, the contract for Repair of Portland Cement
Nrvt.r
Concrete Sidewalk, Curb, and Driveway, for Fiscal Year Ending
June 30, 1985, is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor
is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest,
said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda,

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th of September, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
