APPROVING PARCEL MAP 4374 FOR DIVISION OF PROPERTY,
PERMITTING RECORDING THEREOF, AND FINDING SAID PARCEL
MAP CONSISTENT WITH THE CITY'S GENERAL PLAN
(BALLENA BAY LEASED LANDS)
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda, grantee of certain lands
from the State of California as specified in the Statutes of
1913, Chapter 348, as amended by the Statutes of 1917, Chapter
592, has presented to the Council for approval a Parcel Map
for the division of a portion of leased lands southerly of
Tract 3011 located at Ballena Bay and known as Parcel Map No.
4374; and
WHEREAS, said Parcel Map delineates thereon easements
for public utilities and their appurtenances designated "Public
Utilities Easement" and dedicated to the public;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Alameda that pursuant to Section 11-319.1 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, Parcel Map No. 4374, heretofore accepted and
conditionally approved by the Planning Board, is hereby approved
and permission given to said City to record same, based upon
the findings and subject to the conditions in City of Alameda
Planning Board Resolution No. 1434, passed on August 27, 1984;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said easements for public
utilities and their appurtenances dedicated to the public are
hereby accepted, on behalf of the public, for use in conformity
with the terms of the offer of dedication; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section 11-3112(f)
of the Alameda Municipal Code this Council finds Parcel Map
No. 4374 is consistent with the City's General Plan, and pursuant
to Section 11-3112(h) determines that discharge of waste from
the subdivision into the sewer system will not violate regional
water quality control regulations.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly-adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th of September, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
