APPROVING TENTATIVE MAP FOR TRACT 4276, A SUBDIVISION
OF PROPERTY KNOWN AS WHALERS COVE AT THE END OF
TIDEWAY DRIVE AT BALLENA BAY, FINDING SAID TENTATIVE
MAP CONSISTENT WITH THE CITY'S GENERAL PLAN AND
DETERMINING THAT DISCHARGE OF WASTE INTO SEWER SYSTEM
WILL NOT VIOLATE REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL
REGULATIONS (APPLICANT: GREAT SIERRA GROUP, INC.)
WHEREAS, Great Sierra Group, Inc., applicant herein, has
presented to the Council for approval a Tentative Map for Tract
4276, a subdivision of property known as Whalers Cove at the
easterly terminus of Tideway Drive at Ballena Bay in the City
of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, on September 18, 1984, held
a public hearing on said Tentative Map;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that pursuant to Section 11-3112 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, the Tentative Map for Tract 4276, heretofore
considered by the Planning Board, and based upon the findings and
subject to the condiLions contained in Planning Board. Resolu-
tion No. 1439 adopted on August 27, 1984, is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section 11-3112(f)
of the Alameda Municipal Code the City Council hereby finds the
Tentative Map for Tract 4276 is consistent with the City's
General Plan, and pursuant to Section 11-3112(h) determines that
discharge of waste from the subdivision into the sewer system
will not violate regional water quality control regulations.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify.that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of September, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Counctlmembers Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 4.
NOES: Councilmember Gorman -- 1.
ABSENT: None
