CERTIFYING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT SUPPLEMENT
RESPECTING ALAMEDA MARINA VILLAGE PROJECT
WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 9125 adopted July 17, 1979,
this Council certified a Final Environmental Impact Report for
the project proposed by Alameda Marina Village Associates, to
be known as Alameda Marina Village and incorporating residential,
commercial, recreational, office and open space uses; and
WHEREAS, Alameda Marina Village Associates has submitted
an amendment to the Marina Village Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, in compliance with the state Environmental Quality
Act of 1970, as amended, there has been prepared an Environmental
Impact Report Supplement, which in conjunction with the original
Master Plan EIR, evaluates the environmental effects of the Amended
Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Board, at its regular meeting
on September 11, 1984, considered the Environmental Impact Report
Supplement for the proposed Marina Village Master Plan Amendment
and recommended its submission to this Council for certification.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that said Council hereby CERTIFIES that it has reviewed
and considered the information contained in the Environmental
Impact Report Supplement for the Proposed Amendment to the Master
Plan for Marina Village, dated September, 1984; and said Council
further CERTIFIES that said Environmental Impact Report Supplement
has been completed in compliance with the California Environmental
Quality Act and state guidelines.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of September, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councii1members Gorman, Hanna, Lucas and President Diamemt - 4.
NOES: Counci;lmember Monsef 1.
ABSENT: None.
