AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF OFFER OF GRANT FROM THE
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION FOR EXTENSION
OF HARBOR BAY PARKWAY
WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 10333 adopted on May 15,
1984, this Council authorized the submission of an application
to the Department of Commerce Economic Development Administra-
tion for EDA Grant Funds for the Phase III Extension of Harbor
Bay Parkway; and
WHEREAS, an Offer of Grant in an amount not to exceed
$3,000,000 has been issued pursuant to the application for
assistance with the construction of the Phase III Extension
of Harbor Bay Parkway and the Council is fully informed and
aware of the terms and conditions thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Alameda that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed
to execute, for and on behalf of the City, that certain Offer
of Grant from the Department of Commerce Economic Development
Administration for the Phase II Extension of Harbor Bay Parkway.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to attest to same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd of October, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
