AWARDING CONTRACT TO BEPCO, INC. FOR DRAINAGE
IMPROVEMENTS ON WEBSTER STREET, TAYLOR AVENUE TO
SANTA CLARA AVENUE, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Drainage Improvements
on Webster Street, Taylor Avenue to Santa Clara Avenue, in
accordance with Specifications No. P.W. 6-84-17; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Bepco, Inc. agreeing to perform said work in
accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $9,686.00;
and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its proposal
is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that the bid of Bepco, Inc. is hereby accepted,
the contract for Drainage Improvements on Webster Street, Taylor
Avenue to Santa Clara Avenue, is hereby awarded to said bidder,
and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City
Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd of October, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
official seal of said City this 3rd day of October, 1984.
