Resolution 10451CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 106,51 AUTHORIZING APPOINTMENT OF A HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH REPRESENTATIVE TO THE SOCIAL SERVICE HUMAN RELATIONS BOARD WHEREAS, the Social Service Human Relations Board was established by the City Charter to assess the social service needs of the community and to facilitate provisions therefor; and WHEREAS, this Council feels that the involvement of a high school youth with the Social Service Human Relations Board would contribute to mutual understanding, respect and good will among groups of people in the community; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that the Mayor is hereby authorized to appoint, for a one year term, a high school youth representative as a non-voting member of the Social Service Human Relations Board. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd of October, 1984, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
