RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING OPERATING AGREEMENT WITH
DREXEL BURNHAM LAMBERT FOR SERVICES AS UNDERWRITER
FOR HOUSING FINANCE PROGRAM UNDER THE MORTGAGE
REVENUE BOND ISSUE NO. 2
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda in November, 1983, requested
approval from the State Mortgage Revenue Bond Allocation Committee
to issue mortgage revenue bonds in the amount of $20 million;
and
WHEREAS, in August, 1984, the State Mortgage Bond Allocation
Committee approved Alameda's request to issue mortgage revenue
bonds in the amount of $20 million; and
WHEREAS, the qualifications of Drexel Burnham Lambert
for services as underwriter for said bond issue have been
reviewed and deemed acceptable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Alameda that the City enter into an operating agreement
with Drexel Burnham Lambert for services as underwriter for
the Housing Finance Program under Mortgage Revenue Bond No.
2, and that the City Manager or his designee is hereby
authorized to execute such agreement on behalf of the City.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd of October, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
