AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATION OF $18,000 FROM THE CITY
GENERAL FUND FOR DEPOSITS AND RESERVES FOR THE
HOUSING FINANCE PROGRAM UNDER MORTGAGE REVENUE BOND
ISSUE NO. 2
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda in November, 1983, requested
approval from the State Mortgage Bond Allocation Committee to
issue mortgage revenue bonds in the amount of $20 million; and
WHEREAS, in August, 1984, the State Mortgage Bond Alloca-
tion Committee approved Alameda's request to issue mortgage
revenue bonds in the amount of $20 million; and
WHEREAS, enabling legislation for the issuance of mortgage
revenue bonds requires that funds to cover the cost of issuance
and reserves be held on deposit by the issuing Locality; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City of Alameda
will issue bonds for financing the purchase of existing housing
in the amount of $3 million and that deposits for said issue
amount to $18,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Alameda that $18,000 from the City General Fund shall
be appropriated to cover the City's share of the deposits and
reserves for the Housing Finance Program under Mortgage Revenue
Bond Issue No 2

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd of October, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
