AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATION OF NECESSARY FUNDS FROM THE
GENERAL FUND FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE POLICE ADMINIS-
TRATION BUILDING SECURITY FENCE AND GATES
WHEREAS, on August 7, 1984 this Council directed that the
Police Administration Building Security Fence and Gates should con-
sist of a hollow steel picket fence and gates for the interior lots
of the City Hall and Police Department and a chain link redwood slat
fence between the Elks Club and City Hall; and
WHEREAS, the amount of money appropriated in the 1983-1984
budget for this fencing project is not sufficient to cover the cost
of the construction as directed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that necessary funds from the General Fund shall be
appropriated to cover the cost of construction of the Police
Administration Building Security Fence and Gates in accordance with
Specifications and Plans therefor.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16tf of October, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
