AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ACCEPTANCE AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF ALAMEDA AND SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION
COMPANY FOR RIGHT-OF-ENTRY PROJECT IN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
WHEREAS, in order to proceed with the Patton Way Project
the City requested a right-of-entry from the Southern Pacific
Transportation Company; and
WHEREAS, Southern Pacific has submitted a letter agree-
ment dated October 18, 1984, conditionally permitting the City,
its employees, agents and contractors to enter immediately upon
certain parcels of its property in connection with the Patton
Way Project; and
WHEREAS, the Council is fully informed and aware of said
conditions and it is in the best interests of the City that said
agreement be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the letter agreement from Southern Pacific Trans-
portion Company referred to above is hereby accepted and the
Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said acceptance on behalf
of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda In regular meeting assembled on the 6th of November, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None
ASSENT: None.
