AWARDING CONTRACT TO R. L. ENTERPRISE FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF PHASE II, MASTICK SENIOR CENTER, AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Mastick Senior Center
Improvement, in accordance with Specifications No. P.W. 8-84-22,
approved September 18, 1984; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by R. L. Enterprise agreeing to perform said work in
accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $281,833; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bider and its proposal
is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the bid of R. L. Enterprise is hereby accepted,
the contract for construction of Mastick Senior Center Improve-
ments, Phase II, is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor
is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest,
said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, heresy certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th of November, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
