AUTHORIZING REPROGRAMMING OF NINTH AND TENTH YEAR
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda is the recipient of Community
Development Block Grant funds as authorized pursuant to Title I
of the Community Development Act of 1978, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the City currently has available $531,290 in Ninth
and Tenth Year funds; and
WHEREAS, said funds are now required for the implementation
of certain new and continuing activities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said Council hereby authorizes the reprogramming
of Ninth and Tenth Year CDBG funds, as follows:
1_ $ 74,000 to Eighth Street Reconstruction;
2. 50,000 to Public Housing Authority Security;
3. 61,000 to Street Improvements;
4. 10,000 to Webster Street Improvements;
5 12,500 to Public Parks Improvements;
6. 50,000 to Non-Profit Facilities Rehabilitation;
7. 235,790 to Scattered Site Substantial Rehabilitation;
8. 38,000 to Mortgage Revenue Bonds.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th of November, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, and President Diament - 3.
NOES: Councilmembers Lucas and Monsef - 2.
ABSENT: None.
