AWARDING CONTRACT TO ELECTRONIC INNOVATIONS, INC. FOR
POLICE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING SECURITY FENCE AND GATES,
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for the Installation of Police
Administration Building Security Fence and Gates in accordance
with Specifications No. 12-83-23, approved October 16, 1984; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was sub-
mitted by Electronic Innovations, Inc. agreeing to install a solid
picket security fence and gates and replace the existing fence
along the Elks Club property with new posts for the total sum
of $29,024.98; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its proposal
is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the bid of Electronic Innovations, Inc. is hereby
accepted, the contract for the installation of Police Administra-
tion Building security fence and gates is hereby awarded to said
bidder, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the
.ty Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th of November, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Counci.lmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ASSENT:
None.
