AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANS-
PORTATION TO PROVIDE FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION
AT THE INTERSECTION OF OTIS DRIVE (ROUTE 61) AND
FERNSIDE BOULEVARD
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that
the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to execute on behalf of the
City a Cooperative Agreement with the State of California, acting
through the Department of Transportation, providing for joint
participation in the sharing of costs and other things in the
installation of a traffic control signal system at the intersection
of Otis Drive (Route 61) and Fernside Boulevard in the City of
Alameda, and the City Clerk is directed to attest to said execution.
Said agreement shall be substantially in the form of that on file
in the office of the City Clerk.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 18th of December, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament -
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
