Resolution 10505CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10505 AUTHORIZING THREE ADDITIONAL POLICE OFFICER POSITIONS IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO BE FUNDED THROUGH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR A WEBSTER STREET FOOT PATROL AND HOUSING AUTHORITY SECURITY WHEREAS, the City of Alameda is a recipient of Community Development Block Grant funds as authorized under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended; and WHEREAS, the City Council has approved and budgeted CDBG money to fund a Webster Street Foot Patrol Program and a Housing Authority Security Program; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that said Council hereby authorizes three (3) additional Police Officer positions in the Police Department, to be funded through CDBG funds, for the Webster Street Foot Patrol Program and the Housing Authority Security Program. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these positions are tied to federal funding and shall be eliminated with the loss of CDBG funds. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd day of January, 1985, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
