AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH THE RATCLIFF
ARCHITECTS FOR PHASE II OF THE INTERIOR SPACE
ALLOCATION AND DESIGN SERVICES FOR CITY HALL PROJECT
AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAM BUDGET TO COVER THE COST OF THESE SERVICES
WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 10011 adopted on April 5,
1983 this Council authorized an agreement with The Ratcliff
Architects for a Master Plan of Interior Space Allocation and
Design for City Hall, based on Phase I of the Architects'
proposal; and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to enter into an agreement
with The Ratcliff Achitects for Phase II of the Interior Space
Allocation and Design Services for City Hall which consists of
preparation of detailed construction drawings of the design work;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to execute, for and on behalf of the City of Alameda, that certain
agreement between The Ratcliff Architects and the City of Alameda
for Phase II of the Interior Space Allocation and Design Services
for City Hall in the amount of $36,010. The City Clerk is hereby
directed to attest to same.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of $36,010 is hereby
appropriated from the General Fund to the Capital Improvement
Program budget (CIP 83-5) to cover the cost of these services.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd day of January, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
