AWARDING CONTRACT TO ATLAS TREE SERVICE, INC. FOR
PRUNING OF CITY STREET TREES AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Pruning of City Street
Trees in the City of Alameda, in accordance with Specifications
No. P.W. 12-84--27, approved December 18, 1984; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was sub-
mitted by Atlas Tree Service, Inc. agreeing to perform said work
in accordance with said Specifications for the regular bid sum
of $29,778; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its proposal
is the best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the bid of Atlas Tree Service, Inc is hereby
accepted, the contract for Pruning of City Street Trees is hereby
awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf
of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th of January, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
