Resolution 10526CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10526 ACCEPTING DEDICATION OF MARINA VILLAGE PARKWAY, EAST AND WEST OF SOUTHERN PACIFIC LAND, AS A PUBLIC STREET, AND BOARDWALK AND SHORELINE PARK FOR PUBLIC ACCESS AND PARK PURPOSES WHEREAS, ALAMEDA MARINA CENTER ASSOCIATES, A California Limited Partnership, by Vintage Properties-Alameda Commercial, A California Corporation, General Partner, has executed and delivered to the City, four Corporation Grant Deeds, dated January 23, 1985 and granting to the City certain property within Alameda Marina Village designated as Marina Village Parkway-Phase A, Boardwalk- Phase A and a shoreline park designated Marina Park; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City that said Corporation Grant Deeds be accepted with the following conditions: 1. Alameda Marina Village Associates and/or subsequent owners shall maintain said Parkway per the agreement with the City; and 2. Permanent landscaping and sidewalk shall be constructed along the south side of Marina Village Parkway at subdivider's expense, at such time as lands adjacent to and south of the Parkway are developed, subject to approval of the City Engineer and City Planning Department; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that the following Corporation Grant Deeds: 1. Marina Village Parkway-Phase A, containing 2.913 acres, more or less, for the uses and purposes of a public street in the City of Alameda; 2. Marina Park, containing 5.356 acres, more or less, for the uses and purposes of a public park in the City of Alameda; 3. Boardwalk-Phase A, containing 0.195 acres, more or less, for the uses and purposes of a public pedestrian- wav in the City of Alameda; 4. A portion of Tract 32, designated A.P. NO: 74-906-3, containing 0.355 acres, more or less, -1- dated January 23, 1985 and granted by Alameda Marina Center Associ- ates to the City of Alameda are hereby accepted on behalf of the City and said Council, acting for and on behalf of said City, hereby consents to the recordation of said Deeds and orders this resolution to be attached thereto, as required by Section 27281 of the Government Code of the State of California. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 5th of February, 1985, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
