AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF A COMPACT VEHICLE FOR THE
FIRE DEPARTMENT THROUGH THE COOPERATIVE PURCHASING
DIVISION OF GENERAL SERVICES OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, funds are available in the equipment replacement
account for the replacement of a compact vehicle for the Fire
Department; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the most economical
compact vehicle for the intended use is a Datsun/Nissan standard
pick-up, 4 cylinder, state stock item 2320-009-0413-4, available
through the Cooperative Purchasing Division of General Services
of the State of California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that pursuant to Section 3-15 of the City Charter the
Purchasing Agent of the City of Alameda is hereby authorized to
act as the representative of the City in the purchase of a
Datsun/Nissan standard pick-up, 4 cylinder, state stock item
2320-009-0413-4, with air conditioning deleted, from the
ND
Cooperative Purchasing Division of General Services of the State
of California.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 5th of February, 1985,
by the following vote to wit;
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
