APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH BISSELL & KARN, INC. TO ACT
AS CONTRACT COMPLIANCE OFFICER FOR THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
IN ADMINISTERING CITY'S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
ADMINISTRATION GRANT FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO HARBOR BAY
PARKWAY PHASE 3
WHEREAS, on September 19, 1984, a grant agreement with
the Economic Development Administration (EDA) was approved for
the extension of Harbor Bay Parkway, Phase 3; and
WHEREAS, a condition of approval requires a contract com-
pliance officer to provide review and certification to the EDA
that the City complies with EDA forms, agreements, specifications
and other requirements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute and to attest to, respectively, on behalf of the City,
an agreement with Bissell & Karn, Inc., Engineers, for its services
as Contract Compliance Officer for the City of Alameda in adminis-
tering the City's grant for the EDA for improvements to Harbor
Bay Parkway Phase 3, for the sum of $12,000.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 5th of February, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
