AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF RENTAL REHABILITATION
AGREEMENT AND AMENDMENTS THERETO WITH THE DEPARTMENT
OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda is an eligible recipient
of Rental Rehabilitation Grant funds as authorized by the Urban-
Rural Recovery Act of 1983; and
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda has applied to the Department
of Housing and Urban Development for Rental Rehabilitation
Grant funds in the amount of $64,000; and
WHEREAS, said Grant has been awarded to the City by
the Department of Housing and Urban Development;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to execute, for and on behalf of the City, that certain Rental
Rehabilitation Grant agreement and amendments thereto with
the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th of February, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna and President Diament - 3.
NOES: Councilmembers Lucas and Monsef - 2.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
