AWARDING CONTRACT TO GALLAGHER & BURK, INC. FOR
RECONSTRUCTION AND RESURFACING OF PARKING LOT "W"
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Reconstruction and Resur-
facing of Parking Lot "A", in accordance with Specifications
No. P.W. 8-84-21, approved February 5, 1985; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Gallagher & Burk, Inc. agreeing to perform said
wcrk in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of
$78,644.00; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its proposal
is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Alameda that the bid of Gallagher & Burk, Inc. is hereby
accepted, the contract for Reconstruction and Resurfacing of
Parking Lot "W" is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor
is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest,
N, said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th of March,
by the following vote to wit:
