AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF AN ALTOS 436 MULTI-USER
MICRO-COMPUTER, HEWLITT PACKARD LASER PRINTER,
DTC PRINTER 450Z, and FOUR TERMINALS FOR THE CITY
ATTORNEY AND CITY CLERK DEPARTMENTS
WHEREAS, funds are available in the Fiscal Year 1984-
85 budgets of the City Attorney and City Clerk Departments for
the purchase of a computer and related equipment; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that an Altos 436 Multi-
User Micro-Computer, Hewlitt Packard Laser Printer, DTC Printer
450Z and four terminals offers the advantage of compatible
equipment for the two offices and the proposal and is a cost-
effective method of satisfying their micro-computer application
needs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Alameda that pursuant to Section 3-15 of the City Charter
the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to negotiate and purchase
said Altos 436 Multi-User Micro-Computer and related equipment
for the City Attorney and City Clerk Departments on the open
market.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th of March, 1985,
by the following vote to it
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Lucas, Monsef and Acting President Hanna 4.
NOES: None.
ASSENT: President Diament - 1.
