AUTHORIZING OPEN MARKET PURCHASE OF ENGINEERING
INSPECTION VEHICLE AND SURVEY EQUIPMENT FOR PUBLIC
WORKS DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, there are funds available in the Engineering
Division funds of the Public Works budget for the purchase of
an Engineering Inspection Vehicle and Survey Equipment; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that savings can be
effected by the purchase of this equipment in the open market;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that pursuant to Section 3 -15 of the City. Charter
the Public Works Department and the City Purchasing Agent are
hereby authorized to negotiate and purchase an Engineering
Inspection Vehicle and Survey Equipment on the open market.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd of April, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Monsef and President Diament -- 4
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmember Lucas 1.
