AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT WITH PLANNING RESEARCH
CORPORATION FOR PUBLIC SAFETY COMPUTER SYSTEM
WHEREAS, based upon proposals submitted, Planning Research
Corporation has been recommended, by the City's consultants, the
Warner Group, as the supplier of a Public Safety Computer System
that would best satisfy the requirements of the Police and Fire
Departments; and
WHEREAS, the City will be entering into an agreement with
Security Pacific Capital Markets Group for the lease purchase
of a Public Safety Computer System;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that, subject to the terms of that certain agreement
with Security Pacific Capital Markets Group, the City Manager
be and hereby, is authorized to execute for and on behalf of the
City a Contract with Planning Research Corporation for a Public
Safety Computer System for the Police and Fire Departments, and
the City Clerk is directed to attest to said execution.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd of April, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Monsef and President Diament - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmember Lucas - 1.
