AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH EAST BAY
MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT TO PROVIDE PIPES AND
APPURTENANT FACILITIES FOR HARBOR BAY BUSINESS PARK
SOUTH LOOP ROAD, ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 84--4
WHEREAS, public interest and convenience require the
acquisition, installation, and use of water mains, pipes,
appurtenances, and hydrants for providing water service in
certain areas of the City described generally as Assessment
District 84-4, Harbor Bay Parkway Extension; and
WHEREAS, the City has requested the East Bay Municipal
Utility District to furnish plans and specifications for the
installation of pipes and appurtenant facilities necessary and
convenient for distribution of a domestic water supply by the
District within the boundaries of said assessment district; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been submitted to the City and
the Council is fully informed and aware of the contents thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the City Manager and City Clerk be, and each
hereby is, authorized to execute and to attest to, respectively,
on behalf of the City, an agreement with the East Bay Municipal
Utility District for plans and specifications for the installa-
tion of pipes and appurtenances necessary and convenient for
distribution of a domestic water supply by said District within
the boundaries of Assessment District 84-4.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in special meeting assembled on the 17th of April, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament -
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
