A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ENGINEER FOR ENGINEERING
SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH PROPOSED ANNEXATION
NO. 1985-1 TO CITY OF ALAMEDA ISLAND CITY LAND-
SCAPING AND LIGHTING DISTRICT 84-2
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Alameda,
California, that
WHEREAS, this Council has determined to undertake proceed-
ings for the annexation of territory to an existing assessment
district, pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972
and for the construction or installation of improvements in said
territory, including the maintenance or servicing, or both,
thereof;
WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will
be served by appointing and employing an enaineer for the
preparation and conduct of said proceedings; and
WHEREAS, JOHN H. HEINDEL, CONSULTING CIVIL ENGINEER, is
qualified to perform said work;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That JOHN H. HEINDEL, be, and is hereby, appointed
as Engineer of Work, and employed to do and perform all engineering
work necessary in and for said proceedings.
2. That said Engineer shall be compensated for his
services in accordance with Harbor Bay Isle Associates Purchase
Order No. 04102, attached hereto as Exhibit A.

IMPORTANT:
1. Indicate acceptance of this agreement by signing Original and acknowledgment copies.
Return four signed copies to Harbor Bay' immediately.
2. Above P.O. number must appear on all invoices, correspondence, and shipping documents.
3. Mail invoice in duplicate to Harbor Bay Isle Associates, Attention Accounting
Department, P.O. Box 1450, Alameda, CA 94501. The invoices must be received by the
25th of the month for payment to be made by the 10th of the following month.
