Resolution 10599CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10599 ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 84-3, MARINA VILLAGE PARKWAY AND INDEPENDENCE DRIVE, NO. P.W. 4-85-10, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECT ING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME WHEREAS Specifications, Plans and Estimate for Assessment District 84-3, Marina Village Parkway and Independence Drive, NO. P.W. 4-85-10, have been prepared by the City's Consultant, approved by the Engineering Department, and filed in the City Clerk's office; and WHEREAS, the street limits have been established under the Final Map of Tract 4585; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that said Specifications be, and the same are, hereby approved and adopted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 2:00 o'clock p.m. on THURSDAY, MAY 16, 1985, for furnishing to the City of Alameda all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabuve referred to, in accordance with said Specifications and Plans. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for Assessment District 84-3, Marina Village Parkway and Independence Drive, NO. P.W. 4-85- 10, or similar designation. Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. Said Specifications may be had by any prospective bidder on application to the Director of Public Works, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications and Plans. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in special meeting assembled on the 23rd of April, 1985, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5 NOES: None ABSENT: None IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official seal of said City this 23rd day of April, 1985.
