AMENDING PERSONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
AND MARK KAISER TO EXTEND THE EXPIRATION DATE FOR
SAID SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF TWO
ADDITIONAL PERSONAL SERVICES AGREEMENTS FOR APPROXIMATELY
EIGHTEEN MONTHS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that
the City Manager be and hereby is authorized to execute, and
the City Clerk to attest, on behalf of the City, an amendment
to that certain Personal Services Agreement between the City
and Mark Kaiser, said amendment to be substantially in the form
of that on file in the office of the City Clerk and providing
for an eighteen (18) month extension of said agreement to Novem-
ber 1, 1986; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager and the City
Clerk be, and each hereby is, authorized and directed to execute
and to attest to, respectively, on behalf of the City, two (2)
personal services agreements to provide assistance to the City
Engineering Department in the implementation and processing of
plans, calculations and improvements for development projects
and other engineering services as directed. Said agreements
shall be for a period of approximately eighteen (18) months at
Salary Step 2 for Junior Civil Engineer, plus 16% to compensate
for no benefits.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th of May, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers. Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
