AWARDING CONTRACT TO MJB PIPELINE FOR SEWER PUMP STATION,
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT/EDA 84-4, HARBOR BAY PARKWAY, PHASE
3, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for construction of Harbor
Bay Parkway Phase 3 Sewer Pump Station, in accordance with
Specifications No. P.W. 4-85-15, approved May 7, 1985; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by MJB Pipeline agreeing to perform said work in
accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $115,750;
and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its proposal
is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that the bid of MJB Pipeline is hereby accepted,
the contract for construction of the Harbor Bay Parkway Sewer
Pump Station is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor
is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest,
said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th of June, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
