AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT TO AN AGREEMENT
WITH BISSELL & KARN FOR DESIGN OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS,
HARBOR BAY PARKWAY PHASE 3, ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 84-4
WHEREAS, by its Resolutions No. 10470, No. 10544 and
No. 10545 this Council approved agreements with Bissell & Karn,
Inc., Civil Engineers, for design of the roadway, sewer pump
station, landscaping and irrigation, and soil investigation, and
its services as contract compliance officer in connection with
Harbor Bay Parkway. Phase 3, Economic Development Administration/
Assessment District 84-4; and
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Administration has
requested that the City combine the previous agreements and
enter into one agreement incorporating the scope of work listed
above;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Alameda that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute and to attest to, respectively, on behalf
of the City,. an agreement with Bissell & Karn, Inc., Civil
Engineers, for the design of public improvements, Harbor Bay
Parkway Phase 3, and for its services as Contract Compliance
Officer for the City of Alameda in administering the City's
EDA grant for improvements to Harbor Bay Parkway Phase 3; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that those certain agreements
between the City and Bissell & Karn, Inc. entered into and
authorized by City of Alameda Resolutions No. 10470, No. 10544
and No. 10545 are hereby cancelled in their entirety.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th of June, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
