AWARDING CONTRACT TO RODONI-BECKER CO., INC. FOR
MECHANICAL SYSTEMS MAINTENANCE IN THE POLICE
ADMINISTRATION BUILDING FOR FISCAL YEAR 1985-86
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Mechanical Systems
Maintenance in the Police Administration Building for Fiscal
Year 1985-86, in accordance with Specifications No. P.W.
4-85-14, approved May 21, 1985; and.
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Rodoni-Becker Co., Inc., agreeing to perform said
work in accordance with said Specifications for the base bid
sum of $10,520.62; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its proposal
is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TBE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the bid of Rodoni-Becker Co., Inc., is hereby
accepted, the contract for mechanical systems maintenance in the
police administration building for fiscal year 1985-86 is hereby
awarded to said bidder and the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf
of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 18th of June, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas and Acting President Monsef - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: President Diament - 1.
