AWARDING CONTRACT FOR LEGAL ADVERTISING FOR CITY OF
ALAMEDA FOR FISCAL YEAR 1985 -86 TO ALAMEDA TIMES -STAR
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for the publication of all legal
advertising of said City during the fiscal year ending June 30,
1985; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by the Alameda Times -Star agreeing to publish all legal
advertising of the City of Alameda during the fiscal year
1985 -86 as specified in the notice, at the following prices:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that said Times -Star is a responsible bidder and that
the proposal submitted by said bidder is the lowest and best bid
received; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of the Times -Star
be accepted, the contract for the publication of all legal
advertising of said City of Alameda during the fiscal year ending
June 30, 1986 be awarded to said bidder, and that the Mayor be
and hereby is authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest,
said Contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 18th of June, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas and Acting President Monsef - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: President Diament - 1.
